Access to further levels of study: <\/strong>Upon completion of the University undergraduate study of Medical Laboratory Diagnostics, studying can be continued at a university or specialist graduate study on HEIs in the field of biomedicine lasting one or two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learning outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t

  • to describe, explain and compare physiological and pathological human conditions, disease development, the impact of disease on normal body functions and the application of modern laboratory procedures in the diagnosis and testing of physiological disorders<\/li>
  • to describe, define, distinguish, compare and apply methods of complex clinical chemical analysis, standard and sophisticated laboratory blood tests, complex immunohematological tests, histological, pathohistological and cytological analyses, microbiological, parasitological, and mycological tests, serological analyses, molecular biological analyses, and laboratory tests in nuclear medicine; to apply quality control procedures and keep laboratory records, all in accordance with good laboratory practice and code of ethics<\/li>
  • to distinguish and relate clinical disciplines, and to properly and critically select procedures that enable quality, fast and proper diagnosis using the latest equipment and modern knowledge in the development of diagnostic options<\/li>
