It is conducted through the following selection procedure:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Call for mentors to assess mentoring capacity&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluation of the mentor and determining the mentoring capacity&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registration of general topics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluation of general topics&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>List of general topics\/mentors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Call for applications for enrolment in the Doctoral School based on the list of general topics\/mentors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Application of candidates for a maximum of three topics based on the list of general topics\/mentors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Potential mentors interviewing candidates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mentors make their rank list of candidates by topics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Final list of candidates for enrolment&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Appeals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Enrolment of candidates&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Call for applications for enrolment in doctoral studies as part of Doctoral School is announced by the Faculty Council at the proposal of the Doctoral School Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The candidate must fill out and submit the following documents for applying to the call for applications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>filled out and signed application form&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Europass CV with a list of scientific publications and activities with corresponding evidence of previous research activity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>certified copy of the diploma of completed study \/ decision of the University of Rijeka on recognition of applicant&#8217;s foreign education qualification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>average grade certificate&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>two letters of recommendations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>evidence of English language proficiency<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>institution&#8217;s certificate or applicant&#8217;s written statement about the tuition fee payment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>citizenship certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle wp-block-ub-content-toggle-block\" id=\"ub-content-toggle-block-b4e42f40-e02b-4c46-ba13-8fc4d0d07595\" data-mobilecollapse=\"false\" data-desktopcollapse=\"false\" data-preventcollapse=\"false\" data-showonlyone=\"false\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion\" style=\"border-color: #f1f1f1;\" id=\"ub-content-toggle-panel-block-\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-title-wrap\" style=\"background-color: #f1f1f1;\" aria-controls=\"ub-content-toggle-panel-0-b4e42f40-e02b-4c46-ba13-8fc4d0d07595\" tabindex=\"0\">\n\t\t\t<p class=\"wp-block-ub-content-toggle-accordion-title ub-content-toggle-title-b4e42f40-e02b-4c46-ba13-8fc4d0d07595\" style=\"color: #000000;
