Some courses are partly or completely organised and conducted in healthcare institutions that meet appropriate staff, premises and technical prerequisites. Mutual rights and obligations regarding teaching in healthcare institutions are regulated by an agreement between the Faculty and the healthcare institution (teaching hospital) in accordance with the health and higher education regulations. If an institution does not have the prerequisites to be a clinical institution, the Minister of Health must give their consent for teaching to be conducted. The Minister assigns these institutions the title “associate institution”.
