Croatian Medical Journal

The journal is the successor of the journal Acta Facultatis Medicae Zagrabiensis. Since 1992, it has been published under a new name and concept by becoming a newsletter of the medical faculties of the universities of Zagreb, Rijeka, Split and Osijek. It also became the official journal of the Croatian Academy of Medical Sciences. It is an international scientific open-access, peer-reviewed journal published six times a year in print and electronic forms.

According to bibliometric indicators (it is indexed in citation databases Biosis, Current Contents/Clinical Medicine, PubMed/Medline, Science Citation Index-Expanded/Web of Science, SCOPUS/Elsevier), it is one of the most prestigious Croatian journals.
