Ultrastructural Imaging Laboratory

The Department has a JEOL transmission electron microscope that has been used for diagnostic, scientific and teaching purposes since 2015. Ultrastructural imaging is an integral part of the diagnosis of glomerulopathies, undifferentiated tumours, accumulation diseases, neuromuscular and other disorders. For educational purposes, the goal is to familiarise students with its importance since it sometimes plays a key role in making the final diagnosis (https://hrcak.srce.hr/file/106895).
