We are pleased to announce the 5th Scientific and Professional Meeting of the Cytogenetics Section of the Croatian Society of Human Genetics, to be held on September 11, 2026, at the “Matija Mažić” Cultural Centre in Bakar. The meeting aims to bring professionals together for shared learning and the exchange of practical experience. Through relaxed yet highly professional discussion, participants will review the latest developments in the field, present interesting and rare cases, and jointly encourage the further advancement of medical genetics in Croatia. This year’s event also proudly marks 60 years of cytogenetics and 40 years of prenatal diagnostics at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka.
