The Fourth Ceremonial Promotion of Modern Medical Educators, organised by the Centre for Improvement of Teacher Competencies and Communication Skills of Faculty of Medicine, will be held on Friday, 3 July 2026, in the Aula Magna at the University of Rijeka Rectorate.
During the ceremony, 62 faculty members who successfully completed one of the Centre’s educational programmes during the 2025/2026 academic year will be formally recognised. These include the sixth and seventh cohorts of the continuing professional development programme Modern and Practical Medical Education, the second cohort of the continuing professional development programme Practical Science for Health Professionals, the second cohort of the Communication Skills in Medical Education course (delivered in English), and the pilot cohort of the Applying the Flipped Classroom in Medical Education course.
The ceremony will also include the presentation of the Medical Education Innovation Awards, certificates of appreciation to the Centre’s award-winning members, and the announcement of the Centre’s new members.
As attendance at the ceremony is by invitation only and seating capacity is limited, a news release accompanied by photographs will be published on the Faculty’s official website following the event.
