The fundamental reason for starting this programme is the recognised need to improve the application of nonsurgical and minimally invasive medical procedures in aesthetic medicine and its new, fast-growing branch called aesthetic anti-ageing medicine. The programme is intended exclusively for doctors of medicine and doctors of dental medicine from the Republic of Croatia and abroad (the programme can also be conducted in English). This modern programme includes detailed knowledge and skills in the theoretical and practical application of various methods and procedures in aesthetic medicine. The acquired competencies will enable participants to strengthen treatment quality and safety and improve the correction of possible complications. Furthermore, participants will be able to evaluate patients’ needs properly and plan and manage their treatment accordingly. This will ensure a successful medical procedure without endangering the patient’s health.
The programme contains 80 hours of lectures and 40 hours of practicals, totalling 12 ECTS credits.
