The Committee for Scientific Research Activity is an advisory body that primarily monitors the quality of scientific research work, the quality of PhD thesis topics, scientific research activity and the quality of mentors, the quality of completed PhD theses and the candidate’s scientific publications.
The Committee meets once a month in the week before the scheduled Faculty Council session and before the Doctoral School Council meeting.

PhD thesis topic registration
PhD thesis topic registration must be structured according to the Instructions for PhD Thesis Topic Registration of the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka. PhD thesis topic registration is submitted both to the Ethics Committee and Committee for Scientific Research Activity in accordance with the previously published deadlines of the Ethics Committee.

The PhD thesis must be written in accordance with the Instructions for Structure, Evaluation and Public Defense of PhD Thesis of the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka.
