First Adriatic school on immunometabolism. This summerschool is oriented towards early-career scientists and focuses on immunometabolism, an exciting and rapidly evolving field that explores the dynamic interplay between metabolism and immunity. This workshop brings together some of the biggest names in the field in a way that optimizes interaction between junior and senior scientists. It will be held in Veli Lošinj, on the island of Lošinj, Croatia, one of the most beautiful areas of the Mediterranean.
This workshop is built around interaction. Our goal is simple: bring the next generation of scientists into direct contact with the pioneers shaping the field today. We accomplish this, not only through keynote lectures, poster session and short talks from selected abstracts, but also by informal sessions at the beach where students and postdocs can directly engage with top level scientists. Naturally, a visit to Croatia would not be complete without the ability to sample its fine cuisine and admire its beauty from the sea on an organized boat tour.
